8th Project - Batutis Al-Ilmi

With the assistance of HelpUsToHelp team, Batutis Al-Ilmi was chosen to be one of the recipients of the proceeds from AIS Kemang's 2015 Walkathon. The funds donated will be used to build a new kitchen to provide free meals to students in both the pre-school and primary school. Currently, all meals are prepared in the home of the schools' founder, Bapak Yudhistira Massardi. Through HelpUsToHelp, AIS Social Welfare visited the school in Bekasi and observed the children learning using the schools' unique center method approach.

7th Project - Teaching English to Kampung Kids

For some time, one of the member of from HelpUsToHelp has been teaching English to local children in Kemang. Every Saturday at the home of Mary Black, who has kindly offered her house as "the classroom" Hani provides a one-hour English lesson to the kampung children in the area, with the purpose of giving them some knowledge of English, which will be an advantage to them as they get older and look for work.

6th Project - YKAKI

In 2014, one of the member of HelpUsToHelp - Hani Nandana chose to celebrate her 70th birthday by starting a collection drive for soft toys, to be given to those children living at the YKAKI hospice while undergoing treatment for cancer. She collected a large amount of toys from relatives and friends, schools and organizations in Jakarta, and in November as she turned 70, she visited YKAKI and distributed the toys with the assistance of the Helping Hands team from AIS Kemang.
